Here I would love to share the things that I love to do, read, eat, wear and listen to.
I wanted to take the time to share with you my favourite things, those little things that bring me extra joy in my life & feel good for my soul.
Becoming a mother
One of the biggest joys in life. And one of the most challenging, mentally and physically. I've noticed over the last few years I have found ways back to myself. I love how motherhood has changed me, I feel so much more love, joy and compassion in my heart. Missing parts of myself was very present in the early days and slowly evolving and finding ways to come back to things I missed, while holding onto the new and beautiful me has been a wonderful journey. I want to share some of the ways I have come to find peace in my heart.
Enjoy Rose tea post pregnancy/nursing while listening to beautiful music. Rose tea has helped me minimise period cramps and smells and tastes divine! To celebrate your feminine beauty, drink on a Friday to align with Venus.
I have been using Edible Beauty for years and I absolutely adore it. Their online blogs and naturopath help you choose a skin care routine that will compliment your skin and I love to spend 10-15 minutes enjoying the process. Really massaging the products into my skin, and using a crystal roller for extra relaxation.
The last few years I have also had the privilege of coming across the most wonderful yoga studio. I find so much peace in moving my body during yoga and the yoga philosophies have aided me through day to day life.
The way you dress yourself is ART
I find so much beauty in clothing. Thinking about all the creative people who have dreamt up the style, pattern, colours and fabric. How good I feel in something created with love, ethically with sustainable fabrics and minimal waste.
Less is more. Good quality beautiful designs I will wear over and over again.

I really struggled with insomnia once the girls started sleeping through the night. I'd wake at any sound and be awake for hours and hours. A combination of nourishing my body with more water and better foods, moving my body every day and reading before bed has had a huge impact on my quality of life.
Here are my absolute favourite books.
- Harry Potter
- Jane Eyre
- The Wheel of time series
- Zen and the Art of Saving The Planet - Thich Nat Han
- Atticus poetry - Love Her Wild
- The Empyrean Series
Lastly,
Prioritising rest. In a world that puts value on over working, over consuming and finding value in material objects, I find so much more joy in taking a step back. Less work and more rest. Less busyness and slower days. More days with the family. For us this looks like weekend adventures in nature, slow evenings by the electric fireplace playing board games, cooking nutritious and wonderful meals while the kids peal the veggies. We focus a lot on frequent short getaways, to reconnect relax and unwind. I look forward to creating a blog on our last years holidays and adventures, Keep your eyes peeled!
