Tanisha & Ray's Maternity Session
A bit windier then we had hoped for, and last minute change of location....but these beautiful souls were just so grateful to be out and about documenting such a magical time in their lives. There's nothing I love more than the adoration on the faces of the partners when mama gets her bump out and owns it. Ray was keen to jump in the photos, he even offered to kiss the bump!! And was so encouraging of Tanisha getting her bare belly shots.
Later on in the session, walking over to the pier, I found out that this unplanned location was actually where Ray had asked Tanisha out. My heart burst with excitement. This was MEANT to be. They sat on the pier chatting quietly, giggling sometimes & just spent some time being present.
As I watched them laugh and be, Ray sometimes resting a hand on her belly, I realised these guys are SO young, but SO ready. Not ready in the sense of prepared. Because I honestly believe you can never be prepared for all the things a baby will bring. Bur ready to take it on, ready to be there for each other and ready to do their best with their darling little girl.
I cannot wait for their newborn session!
